Located in Western North Carolina, Tri-County Motor
Speedway is a 4/10 mile banked asphalt track racing weekly on Friday night
as it has for most of it's existence. A NASCAR Home Track facility,
TCMS features Late Models as it's premier division and has been a proving
ground for many of today's rising talents.

Wimbish Is On a Roll at
Tri-County Motor Speedway,
Cherry Wins Second Late
Model Race
Hudson,
North Carolina (June
11, 2010) - After several weeks of rain outs, Tri
County Motor Speedway finally got it is race night in with
Grant Wimbish taking the first feature and Michael Cherry took
top honors in the second feature.
Wimbish
held off Cherry to win the first feature with Cherry able to
rebound to take honors in the nightcap. Rebecca Kasten
finished third and Jessica Burnelli was fourth. Kyle Moon
rounded out the top five.
Kasten
finised second in the final late model feature of the night
with Ryan Glenski third. Wimbish and Burnelli completed the
top five.
Waylon
Flynn captured another Limited Late Model feature win with
Jason Cochrane and Tyler Church taking the final two podium
positions. Mike Eplee and Zach Bruenger completed the top
five.
In
the truck race feature, Mark Johnson crossed the finish line
first with Jason Crouse and Dominick Casol second and third,
respectively.
In
the Baton Tire Street Stock division, Josh Burchette was able
to keep Roy Smith in his rearview mirror to win the race.
Dustin Walker came home third. Greg Austin won the Renegade
feature with Dillon Crouch second and Joseph Hodges third.
