Night Cuts TCMS Racing Short
Hudson,
North Carolina (June
7, 2010) - For
the second time in three weeks, rain played havoc on racing
action at Tri-County Motor Speedway. Late Models were once
again rained out during Friday night's program, but three
other divisions were able to get their scheduled events in
before rain ended the night's action early.
In
the competitive Limited Late Model division, a trio of
longtime TCMS competitors led a strong field of 14 cars that
put on a great show with Waylon Flynn holding off Monty Cox
for the win. Nick Waycaster followed in third for a podium
finish with Christian Pahud and Tyler Church completing the
top five. Josh Goble followed in sixth and Jason
Cochrane followed in seventh. Asheville's Scott Franklin was
eighth while Mike Eplee and Trey Marcham completed the top 10.
Dustin
Walker won the Baton Tire Street Stock feature with veteran
Marshall Sutton second and Mike Hatton third. Adam Hatton and
Ricky Brown completed the top five.
Dan
Moore took the checkered flag in the Renegade division with
Greg Austin and Dillon Crouch in second and third,
respectively.
Racing
returns to TCMS this Friday night with a full tilt of racing
scheduled highlighted by the Late Models running a pair of
Twin 35-lap features. For more information, contact TCMS at
