Speedway is a 4/10 mile banked asphalt track racing weekly on Friday night
as it has for most of it's existence. A NASCAR Home Track facility,
TCMS features Late Models as it's premier division and has been a proving
ground for many of today's rising talents.

Canipe
Jr. keeps rolling at Tri-County Motor Speedway
Hudson,
North Carolina (July 31, 2009) - Dexter Canipe Jr.
made it three in a row Friday night at Tri-County Motor
Speedway in the Late Model Stock feature. Canipe, who is
pulling away for the lead in the track championship with his
seventh win overall this season, held off Andy Mercer for the
win with David Wilson third. Brian Curry and Tyler Brown
completed the top five.
Canipe
kept the winning streak going as well in the Limited Late
Model feature going unbeaten in the month of July in the
division. Terrence Tucker finished second with Christian Pahud
taking the final podium spot. Dominick Casola and Mike Eplee
rounded out the top five.
Kevin
Townsend became the eighth different winner the season in the
Baton Tire Street Stock division. Kevin Eby was second with
David Smith followed in third. Mike Hatton and Waylon Flynn
finished the top five in the most competitive division at the
speedway.
Dustin
Walker won his third consecutive Renegade race and fourth
overall for the season. Dillon Crouch was second with Roy
Smith third and Stephen Shore fourth. Tim Childers came home
fifth.
