Located in Western North Carolina, Tri-County Motor
Speedway is a 4/10 mile banked asphalt track racing weekly on Friday night
as it has for most of it's existence. A NASCAR Home Track facility,
TCMS features Late Models as it's premier division and has been a proving
ground for many of today's rising talents.

Canipe gets his third Late
Model win in 2009
Hudson,
North Carolina (June 19, 2009) - After a couple
of weeks off the Tri County Motor Speedway Late Model Stock
drivers returned to action in twin 35-lap races Friday night
at the track.
In
the first feature Dexter Canipe, Jr. was able to hold off R.A.
Brown to win his third late model stock race of the year.
Canipe, who has won three of the past four late model stock
races held at the speedway since May 8, took the lead and held
on for the win from Brown and third-place finisher Anthony
Anders. Brennon Poole and David Wilson completed the top five
in the first race.
Wilson
came back to win the second race of the night for the feature
division as he kept pace with Canipe for the most wins of the
season at the track with three.
Chris
Lawson finished second and Canipe rounded out the top three.
Megan Reitenour and Anders completed the top five.
Canipe
kept of the winning in the Limited Late Model race to collect
his second win in the division of the year and his first since
opening night.
Nick Waycaster, Dominick Casola and Mike Eplee
completed the top five.
Kevin
Eby was able to keep David Smith in his rearview mirror to win
the Baton Tire Street Stock race. Mike Hatton completed the
top three.
Dustin
Walker became the fourth different winner of the Renegade
division feature this season. Dillon Crouch and Carroll
McKinney completed the podium finishers.
Tri
County Motor Speedway will feature a full schedule of weekly
racing next Friday, June 26 and will feature all four regular
