Located in Western North Carolina, Tri-County Motor
Speedway is a 4/10 mile banked asphalt track racing weekly on Friday night
as it has for most of it's existence. A NASCAR Home Track facility,
TCMS features Late Models as it's premier division and has been a proving
ground for many of today's rising talents.

Hudson,
North Carolina (May 29, 2009) - It
was another week of the Dexter Canipe, Jr.-David Wilson show
at Tri-County Motor Speedway. After Wilson was able to hold
off Canipe in their last race to become the first two-time
winner at TCMS this season, Canipe returned the favor this
week.
Canipe,
who also has a win in the Limited Late Model Division at TCMS,
led the 16-car field to the checkers in another action-packed
race. Grant Wimbish followed Wilson in third and R.A. Brown
came home fourth. NASCAR Drive
for Diversity driver Megan Reitenour completed the top five.
Ryan
Glenski became the fourth different winner in the Limited Late
Model division. Canipe continued his successful night
finishing second in the race with Jason Crouse third. Always
popular Jeff Hagaman finished fourth and three-time LLM
division winner Christian Pahud rounded out the top five.
After
a one-race absence from victory lane David Smith took home the
checkered flag in the Baton Tire Street Stock race. Kevin Eby,
who won the season-opening race this year, finished second
with Jonathan Smith third, Mike Hatton fourth and Charlie
Watson fifth.
Tank
Sullivan won the Renegade race with Dustin Walker and Barney
Arnette completing the top three.
The
Allison Legacy Series made its first visit of the year to TCMS
and put on a great show featuring a 16-car field. The Series,
owned by the world famous Allison family, tours throughout the
United States featuring ¾-sized stock cars.
Justin
Allison, grandson of NASCAR legend Donnie Allison, won the
feature with Timmy Hill second and Paul Beckner third.
Tri
County Motor Speedway will feature a full schedule of weekly
racing next Friday, June 5, and will feature the Tarheel
