Speedway is a 4/10 mile banked asphalt track racing weekly on Friday night
as it has for most of it's existence. A NASCAR Home Track facility,
TCMS features Late Models as it's premier division and has been a proving
ground for many of today's rising talents.

Wilson becomes first Late
Model repeat winner of 2009
Hudson,
North Carolina (May 15, 2009) - David Wilson put his name in the 2009 record books at Tri
County Motor Speedway as he held back Dexter Canipe, Jr. to
become the first repeat winner in the competitive Late Model
Stock division.
Canipe, who won the second of twin 35-lap races last weekend,
lost his bid to repeat but held on for second. Anthony Anders
followed in third with R.A. Brown fourth and Grant Wimbish
fifth.
Nick Waycaster won the Limited Late Model feature for his
first win of the year. Waycaster, a veteran competitor at TCMS,
ended Christian Pahud’s three-race winning streak. Mike
Eplee finished second while Canipe, Jr. pulled double duty
finishing third. Pahud came home fourth and Justin Robinson
followed in fifth.
Waylon Flynn became the fourth different winner in the Baton
Tire Street Stock division and ended David Smith’s two-race
win streak. Smith finished second with Kevin Eby third and
Jonathan Smith fourth. Mike Hatton came home fifth.
Dillion Crouch won the Renegade race and tied third-place
finisher Carroll McKinney for the most wins in the division
this season with his third triumph. Barney Arnette and Dustin
Walker completed the top five.
Ken Webb won the Vintage car race with Richard Deese and Bill
Webb rounding out the top three.
Tri County Motor Speedway welcomes the UARA Series to the
speedway next Friday night for a 150-lap special event late
