Tri-County Motor Speedway

Located in Western North Carolina, Tri-County Motor Speedway is a 4/10 mile banked asphalt track racing weekly on Friday night as it has for most of it's existence. A NASCAR Home Track facility, TCMS features Late Models as it's premier division and has been a proving ground for many of today's rising talents.

Pepsi Limited Late Model Rules Changes

Hudson, North Carolina (June 4, 2008) - After discussing the current rules package concerning blending of the Limited Late Model class with the Super Stock class with twelve (12) drivers on Tuesday night at Tri-County Motor Speedway, the following changes have been made effective:

Limited Late Model Legal

Motor Carburetor Weight Right Side Weight

1.      Small Built           350                         2950                            1350

2.      Built                       350                         3050                            1350

3.      ZZ4                        390                         3050                            1400

Super Stock Legal

Motor Carburetor Weight Right Side Weight

1. Built 500 3050 1350

2. ZZ4 650 3050 1350

*Super Stocks are allowed to run a 5.5 clutch (Minimum Size)

Thursday Night June 12^th, Tri-County Motor Speedway will host a FREE test for all Pepsi Limited Late Models from 5pm till dark. Competitors will be allowed to leave their trailers in the pits for Friday’s race program.

If you were not at the meeting, do not complain about the rule changes!
