Exhaust Regulations Will Be Enforced Throughout the 2008
Racing Season
Hudson, North Carolina (February
15, 2008) – Tony Casola, owner of Tri-County Motor
Speedway, and Joe Lewandoski, General Manager, would please
appreciate the support from all competitors concerning
mufflers on all race cars in competition during the 2008 auto
racing season.
We want to be good neighbors to all the people who live in
the Baton Community which surrounds Tri-County Motor Speedway.
Race officials will enforce a dB reading from the spotters
stand. We would like for the cars to be in the range of 95 dB
to 100 dB.If at
all possible we want all exhaust to exit the car underneath or
towards the inside of the speedway.
Cars that are too loud are going to be asked to work on
their muffler system to quiet the car down to an acceptable
level.
Thank
you for your cooperation and helping Tri-County Motor Speedway
to be a good neighbor.
