Located in Western North Carolina, Tri-County Motor
Speedway is a 4/10 mile banked asphalt track racing weekly on Friday night
as it has for most of it's existence. A NASCAR Home Track facility,
TCMS features Late Models as it's premier division and has been a proving
ground for many of today's rising talents.

Tri-County Motor Speedway Track Officials
Hudson, North Carolina (February
15, 2008) – Tri-County Motor Speedway announces the 2008
NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Track Officiating Team.
The 2008 track officiating team will be led by Director of
Racing Randy Summerlin.Randy
previously worked at Hickory Motor Speedway doing various
officiating jobs and he will be making all the on-track race
calls from the confines of the Tri-County Motor Speedway VIP
Tower. “I am very lucky to be able to hire a person with the
skills that Randy has, the job of Director of Racing by far is
the hardest job to do on a race night” says General Manager
Joe Lewandoski.
The technical inspectors will be headed up by Tim Reece a
former NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series official.
Randy Truett will act as the pit steward and also help with
tech-ing along with Mike Anderson, Barry Moose and Junior
Hayes to round out the TCMS Tech Team.
Junior Evans a long-time TCMS flagman along with his son
Greg Evans will be up in the flag stand.
Toni James will act as the Chief Scorer and also be in
charge of the points. Deb Self will assist Toni on race nights
in the tower.
Donovan Culbreth will be the Stop and Go Official for pit
road.
Lea Reece will be in charge of the spotters.
Wayne Reece will handle the pace car driving duties.
