Located in Western North Carolina, Tri-County Motor
Speedway is a 4/10 mile banked asphalt track racing weekly on Friday night
as it has for most of it's existence. A NASCAR Home Track facility,
TCMS features Late Models as it's premier division and has been a proving
ground for many of today's rising talents.

Hudson, North Carolina (January 17, 2008) - On
Tuesday, January 29, 2008 at 6:30pm at the Caldwell County
Fairgrounds, Tri-County Motor Speedway will be holding a
reception to announce that they are now a member of the NASCAR
Whelen All-American Series.
Drivers, Crew Chiefs and Car Owners are invited. Food and
Drinks will be provided. Drivers will be allowed to reserve
and pay for pit stalls, car numbers, etc. Drivers will be able
to fill out all registration forms to race at TCMS (W-9’s,
car ownership, driver information). Drivers will also be able
to purchase 2008 NASCAR competition memberships and licenses.
George Silberman, NASCAR Managing Director of Racing
Operations, will be at the reception to talk about the 2008
NASCAR Whelen All-American Series.
