5 Divisions to Comprise 2008 TCMS Racing Schedule
Hudson, North Carolina (January 9, 2008) - Citing
low car counts, Mini-stocks and Tri-County Mini’s will not
return to race in 2008 at Tri-County Motor Speedway.
“After reviewing 2007 and making a decision on what
direction our weekly auto racing program is taking, I have
decided not to run either class and concentrate on building
our weekly five class program of Late Model Stock, Limited
Late Model Stock, Super Stocks, Street Stocks and Hobby
Stocks,” stated General Manager Joe Lewandoski.Opening night for weekly racing is scheduled for Friday
night April 4th.
TCMS General Manager Joe Lewandoski also reminds car
owners to contact the speedway office if they have not done so
already, to register their car numbers and reserve their pit
spaces for 2008. A $25 administration/car registration
fee is required for car to receive race winnings and applies
for all divisions. Reserved pit spaces will be $100 for
the year.
Additionally, reserved spectator parking spaces are now
available on a first come first served basis.
