Speedway is a 4/10 mile banked asphalt track racing weekly on Friday night
as it has for most of it's existence. A NASCAR Home Track facility,
TCMS features Late Models as it's premier division and has been a proving
ground for many of today's rising talents.

Tri-County Motor Speedway Gets Race Night in Despite
Threatening Weather
Hudson, North Carolina (June 15, 2007) - Despite
threatening rain clouds all night long Tri County Motor
Speedway was able to get the race night in after rain
cancelled all action last week. Larry Pollard won the
First Annual “Run What You Brung” race which was shortened
due to weather concerns keeping most competitors away. Ed
Surrett was second with Barry Lowe finishing third.
Bill Cassavaugh and Chris Chapman put on a show for the
fans in the Limited Late Model race with Cassavaugh finally
able to get around Chapman for the win. Alli Owens finished
third with Ricky Bryant and Mario Hernandez completing the top
five.
Kevin Townsend continued his winning ways in the Pepsi
Super Stock division with Scott Franklin and Steve Parris
finishing second and third, respectively. Brian Stahl and
Jason Franklin completed the top five.
Kevin Eby and Marshall Sutton battled for the first 23 laps
of the Street Stock feature before Eby finally made the pass
with two laps to go and return to victory lane. Ernie Harris
followed in third with Jonathan Smith and Josh Burchette
completing the top five.
Nikki Long won the Baton Tire Fast & Furious feature
with Chad Miller and Preston Hall taking the other two podium
finishes.
Next week TCMS host the ASA Southern Modifieds for a
special 150-lap event. The Thunder Roadsters and TCMS Street
Stocks will also be in action.
