Practice Schedule Set for TCMS
Hudson, North Carolina (March 28, 2006) - Tri-County
Motor Speedway will hold open practice for competitors on
April 1, 2006 and April 8, 2006, in preparation for the
upcoming 2006 racing season.
Gates will open at noon with practice from 1pm-5pm.
Tires will be available, and we will have racing fuel.
The famous char-broil grill will also be fired up with
concessions available.
The first race is slated for April 14th, with a
100-lap Late Model Stock event, sponsored by Galaxy Foods.
All regular divisions will also be racing on opening
night. The Super Stock field is growing, as
several new teams have expressed an interest in joining the
weekly battles.
The Street Stock field is also anticipating new cars, as
are the Mini Stocks, Fast and Furious and Tri-County Minis.
Returning will be the ever popular Road Rage! Fans
were treated to the wild and crazy antics of drivers brave
enough to enter the “almost anything goes” race.
This season, fans will be treated to appearances from the
Pass Super Late Models, Vintage Racers, the East Coast Flat
Head Fords and the UARA/Stars.
